When Sean and I were married almost 7 years ago, we were so in love and giddy with excitment (of course, hehe). And since then, we have had some fun and crazy times... Some of my favorite moments have been those that remind me we are soul mates. :0) My moments aren't usually earthshattering events. They are usually just a part of my everyday routine.
Here's a few of my favorites...
Once when we were preparing to go on a trip, I had overdone it. I am a bit particular about how we leave the house, and had a huge "to do" list before we left. When Sean came home from work, I actually had almost everything done. Soon, all I had was to pack the last few things for us to take...and, I melted. I was overwhelmed, tired and decided...it can't be done...I froze... Sean simply said, "hun, just take one step at a time." He quickly gathered our last items and arranged the bags by the door, ready for an early morning departure. It was quick, easy and we were able to get the rest we needed. It probably sounds silly, but I think about that night often. "Just one step at a time" - and I am reminded that Sean frequently comes to my rescue when I don't see how I can take that next step. :0)
Another moment... Sean's had some serious joint problems over the past 5 years. But, the past few months have been extremely difficult for him. The pain was so intense that he was barely able to walk with a cane. Luckily his Doctor was able to drain his knee frequently to ease the pressure. It was unsettling to see him struggle so much. One morning after discussing our options for the future, we tried to be possitive and get ready for the day. While I was doing my hair, he took me in his arms, and started dancing with me. He said, "Once I am healthy, will you take a dance class with me? I know how happy that would make you, and I love seeing you happy. :0) I would regret it so much if we never got the chance to do that." We laughed, cried and danced that morning in the bathroom.
A few more moments...

During one of our first dinners together, a sweet old lady came up to our table in the restaurant, grabbed both of our hands and said with the most honest smile, "I have been watching the two of you all night...and you...are...made for each other..."
We have both forgotten the topic of our few major arguments we have had as a couple.
We have both stood up for one another whenever neccessary, as well as help overcome our faults when needed...which has made us much better people.
We know when the other needs a few extra minutes in bed, and wake up with the girls, so the other can rest.
I love him! I am relieved to see him doing so well after his knee surgery and can't wait to see what "moments" we will have in the future. :0)
